MLA – Modern Language Association

MLA is the research style adopted by Wake County Schools and is the only acceptable style for work at Wakefield High School. MLA style involves page formatting, parenthetical (in-text) citations, and works cited pages. MLA style should be used for any essays/research/projects submitted at Wakefield High School. This includes multimedia projects. (See Appendix for examples of SAT, AP, and Science Lab Reports)
